While it has been a colder than usual beginning to 2010, the real estate market has continued to stabilize. The 30-A area continues to gain popularity and recognition. The recent 30-A Songwriter’s Festival held in mid January was a huge success and a boon to our economy in a time of year that is typically very quiet for area businesses.

I was especially pleased to see this great travel report to be published in Boston this weekend and my smiling friend and art guru Eileen West spreading the word!

This is a good article in today’s USA TODAY explaning the new and broader rules for the program.
You can now purchase a second home if you have owned a home for five consecutive years and receive a $6,500 credit, as long as you make the new home your primary residence.

Flutterby Festival

This is the first year for the Cultural Arts Association to showcase this annual festival in WaterColor. Marina Park will be a perfect setting with all of the amazing butterfly gardens. Children have a terrific time and area school art departments benefit. Mark your calendars!
