- Premier to Lease WaterColor Sales Office from JOE
- JOE to Transfer Existing WaterColor Resale Listings to Premier
- JOE to Focus on Home Site and Builder Sales
WaterSound, Florida – (August 21, 2009) The St. Joe Company and The Premier Property Group jointly announced today that they have entered into agreements for Premier to lease the WaterColor sales office and to assume JOE’s existing WaterColor resale listings effective September 1, 2009. Premier is a full service real estate brokerage firm with a strong presence in Northwest Florida.
Some members of the current JOE sales staff will assume similar roles with Premier. JOE’s remaining sales team in Northwest Florida will focus on home site and builder partner home sales in its remaining properties including the communities within WaterSound in South Walton County, RiverCamps at Crooked Creek in Bay County, WindMark Beach in Gulf County and its remaining inventory at WaterColor.
“The transition of WaterColor’s resale efforts from JOE to Premier is part of the natural progression that occurs as communities mature,” said Nick Cassala, president of JOE’s residential operations. “With a limited number of JOE-owned home sites remaining in WaterColor’s last phase, this is the right time to move most of JOE’s resale operations to a strong strategic partner.”
“South Walton County has abundant growth potential, and Premier is in a great position to advance that growth,” said Keith Flippo, part owner and top agent for Premier. “With the opening of the new international airport next year, this area is poised to become a true national resort destination.”

JOE’s sales team will continue to focus on developer sales from the WaterSound Sales Center located off Highway 98 at the entrance to the community of WaterSound and across from Camp Creek Golf Club.
